I understand your last sentence well. "Simple does not always equal less expensive." I was attracted EBB system when I came to the US because in Japan, it is not popular yet. I think EBB is a good system for single speed. BB shell, BB option, both of them are well-designed. Can we invent smaller(diameter) one with BB option in the future?
