What's new is old.
Flattered that Specialized mentioned a Seven as inspiration for their Roubaix. From a recent piece in Bicycle Retailer and Industry News:
"Sean Sullivan, a former product manager and executive vice president at Specialized... was asked about the development of the Specialized Roubaix bike. Sullivan said its inspiration was a custom Seven Cycles bike that a Specialized employee rode, and which caught the eye of Specialized's founder and president Mike Sinyard. The Seven had a tall headtube and a relaxed geometry that the Roubaix later featured, Sullivan said."

While I'm surprised the statement wasn't redacted, it's nice to see something positive in an otherwise unpleasant situation for Specialized and Volagi.
The merry-go-round never stops. Ride on.
