All the News That Fits In 200-Words
I was asked by Seven Cycles to leave town for a week or so; Eurobike seemed like a good place to go. It was very good--as always. Here are some reasons why:
- All companies offer all things. Brand
focus appears to be as popular as tubulars.
I thought that brand consistency was a long-term strategy but I guess it
now lasts only one season. Diversification is the new focus.
- Titanium frame offerings are on the rise again. A few
new brands out there—offering cheap titanium anyway. Not quite the ideal direction but interesting
none the less.
- Titanium is the new titanium. So
many questions about titanium like I’d heard 20-years ago. New folks in the industry eager to learn
about the material. A positive sign.
